A great looking dark amber or copper body that has nice red highlights. White head is a decent creamy style with plenty of lace effect.
The nose is spicy and also shows lots of caramel malt notes. Some alcohol noted as well. There is a delicate spicing in the flavor with the malt falling nice to the back, but balancing the overall flavor.
The feel is creamy and almost too smooth, rather like a wateriness. Good drinkability for a Christmas ale, but limited by the style.
