16 oz. can. Clear orange. Smells of pineapple and coconut, which I know are not in the beer at all. A bit of grain and some brininess. Tastes of bright acidic fruit, salt, wheat. Maybe coconut again. Light body. Very good, even if it's got none of the fruits I think are in it.

I know that the FBI is coming for me, but I swear that space aliens have NOT taken over as a replica of me with my body in a pod in the basement, but it just isn't so. I know that I eschew Hefeweizens & pooh-pooh Tart/Sour beers so that the last couple/few days may seem totally outta character for me, but it's still me at the keyboard! It has been really hot, hazy & humid & I just CAN't bring myself to CANtemplate drinking anything else, especially when I have so many in those styles to further The CANQuest (tm). I hope that you understand.
From the CAN: "Gose Beer" & a sea of pink & white polka dot bikinis against a bright yellow background.
I Crack!ed the CAN open & beCAN a Gussie Busch Glug that was only partially successful. It created two fingers of fizzy, foamy, eggshell-white head with extremely limited retention, fizzing its way to wisps as I gaped in disbelief. No skim, no lacing, no trace. 8=O Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9). Nose had a very unusual (for the style) raspberry-like quality. Wow! My glass was absolutely rinsed clean & nothing that I had drunk out of it previously had anything to do with raspberries. It was all the beer. I CANnot find anything on their website, so I am pressing on. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, a step or two above watery. Phew, was this one tart! My lips were not just puckered, they were trying to turn into Eugene on "Preacher". OMFG! The taste remained very tart throughout with notes of raspberry and salt. Salted raspberries!?! Is this a CANming thing?!? Phew. Finish was tart and dry and the raspberry taste lingered. Wow. What else/more CAN I say?

Though billed as a straight gose, it is definitely fruited, which took me off guard at first (if it is fruited, why not advertise that fact?) but it is still good. A little heavy, not too salty or tart, fruit is mostly a vague raspberry or pomegranate. Needs more of a snap on the finish.

This is a very refreshing gose not too sour with mild fruit presents of kiwi and lemon zest. Not too salty either. Was going to mark it down for not being overly sour but it's really growing on me. Worth trying at least once

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Cloudy golden brown pour with 1 finger of fluffy white head. Nice rim of lacing.
S: Tart and fruity... kiwi and pomegranate. Light lemon and funk.
T/F: Tart and fruity... strong presence of kiwi. The pomegranate is also noticeable... not sure if I'd have come up with it though without the can. Not overly sour... just pleasantly acidic. Mildly funky... a bit of lemon. Light and crisp. Zesty carbonation.
O: A pretty outstanding gose... a style I find that it hard to get excited about in general. Great fruity tart flavor... low ABV and perfectly crushable for the warm weather.
