I thought that the only real steam beer was the one brewed by Anchor... Anyhow. This brew was golden in color, relatively clear, with good carbonation, and a short lived head. Odor was malty, with the scent of fresh hops mixed in. Rather complex flavor for a steam beer, flavors of hops, malt, corn and a touch of spice were noted. Finished rather clean with an earthy like aftertaste. Worth a try.
