I wasn't excited about the Munich Helles (it's hard to get away from their IPA!), but it surprised me! Not bad at all, I'm not a big lager fan, but this is nice. The smell is insignificant, appearance was actually a bit more attractive than most German lagers. This is a perfectly fine beer one could drink a hell of a lot of. Smooth, just hints of malt and hops. Nothing too interesting, but still something worth having now and again.

On tap, at the source. Was of a medium golden yellow color with a short lived head and rather low carbonation, and no lace around the glass. Odors were rather weak, but hops were noted, as was malt. Flavor was slightly bitter, with notes of hops, corn and yeast. Finished smooth, with a touch of a bitter aftertaste. Not a bad beer. Worth a try.
