A unique Maibock. Poured out to a clean and clear deep color of gold, with a hint of white bubbles for a head. Medium level of carbonation. Aroma was slightly hoppy, with some sour malty notes. Alcohol is noted. Taste is pretty good, with malty dry grain and stronger hops making their presence know, and a slight note of alcohol keeping things interesting. Mouthfeel was uneventful, rather plain, with only a touch of a oily hop character. Drinkability is pretty good for the style. Wouldn't mind having this again. Worth a sample.
