This was described to me as a combination of their Red Stag red-ale with a strong American well-hopped barleywine.

This beer has a dark-red color, with some moderate chill-haze, and a small head but good lacing. Nose is sweet caramel malt, faint and nothing special. Flavor, though highly malty, with a rich caramel, slightly toffee-ish touch. Bitterness is high enough to be noticible but doesn't dry out the beer much. Fruity yeast character with, I think, a touch of butterscotch lingering around the back. Though alcohol isn't immediately detectable, it is a warming beer.

I had this beer to start out with, but it'd probably make an excellent end to a meal at Big Bucks. Very nice.
