Sampled at the restaurant.
This is the beer I was looking forward too, since Oatmeal stouts are one of my favorite styles.
Beer pours dark brown with brown highlights. The head is nearly non-existent. The smell is much very astringent with some roasted malts mixed in. The flavor starts off okay, with lots of roasted malt and coffee, but the aftertaste is awful. I got some sort of metallic flavor at times and also got some soapiness at others. The beer was too thin and I couldn't even finish the 5 oz sampler glass. Not recommended.

this brewery is probably inconsistent
cellphone notes
appearance: dark mahogany body, full foamy chocolate cap with strong retention
smell: roasty, chocolatey, roasted oats
taste: nothing was off here - actually a pretty decent oatmeal stout that greatly exceeded expectations...milky, roasty, faux espresso, dry chocolate. the only good beer i sampled here
mouthfeel: light and foamy
drinkability: good

Served on draft into a pint glass. Almost opaque black with violet highlights. Minimal head that is slightly tan in color.
Aroma is mealy, grainy, and somewhat sour. All of the beers from here seem to exude the same smells and flavors, none of which are particularly pleasant.
Taste was way off. Again, mealy and astringent and sour and off. Mouthfeel was slightly chewy yet dry. Not a fan of this one but it was the only beer that was consumable from here.
