I tried this brewery again when I heard they got a new brewmaster. I have heard all of the recipes are new.

The beer pours dark brown with a white head. The aroma is strong caramel malt. The flavor is caramel malt, chocolate and some earthy hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Of the six Uncle Buck's beers tried, this was the only one that was even average and even then, it is nothing special.

This beer was very good. Definitely my favorite of the night. The brewer said he uses chocolate malted rye in the beer to lend a smoky roasted chocolate flavor to the beer.

A- The beer was a hazy, but transparent dark brown color with a pretty small white head that stuck around for about 5 minutes.

S- This was the beers weak point. There was not much to the smell. There was some dark malt aromas, but nothing that really stood out.

T- This beer tasted excellent. The rye malt added a lot to the beer, providing a complex chocolaty flavor. The beer had enough hop bitterness to cut the sweet malts, but the hop flavor was not really there.

M- This beer had a medium body, with low to medium carbonation. The sweet malts lingered for a little bit on the finish.

D- I would love to drink this beer again. The beer had complexity and depth, but wasn't over the top.
