Third of a litre serving, came in a handled pilsener glass. Pale colour, clear, one finger head, decent retention. Typical fresh north German style pils smell, hints of noble hop. Initially it tasted bitter sweet but seemed to get more and more bitter, almost to the point of being unbalanced, hint of mushroom, finish long and bitter. Slightly coarse, texture slightly thin, well carbonated. Overall disappointing that a small brewery chose to brew an identikit German Pils, drinkable but slightly boring.
