L- Honey-golden, clear, pours with restrained 2mm white cap. A ps@+15mins, tho the cap sustains well.
S- Quite trad, bready/grainy, there's perhaps more not getting through my congestion but if that's so it's still subtle.
T- It's quite hoppy/dry on the front; that's one defining characteristic for a German trad. But I'm now also noting something of a broader maltier sense that then follows in parallel.
F- Interesting and somewhat different, it has a bright hoppy/dry side plus a deeper/richer other side, all within a 'simple' trad profile [ie no modern lychee, mandarin or other complicating facets].
O- It's different in that it comes over as a pretty robust 5.2%, sessionable too, esp in colder months, but the hops on the front of the palate, still lightly zinging my palate a dozen sips in, give it a bright side. Very drinkable... and very hard to know how to rate something where it's special differences are achieved in quite a subtle way!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
