In the Einsiedler Landbier beer you will find the typical taste of our traditional homeland beers. It tastes full and spicy with a pleasant hop-bitter note. Traditionelle Brauverfahren and Malts the best German Gerstenanbaugebieten gives this Bier your typical taste.

330ml bottle. Pokal glass. Enjoyed on dec´11. Golden color with unfiltered, slightly foggy appearance. White in color, close froth quickly dissipates. Nice collars & rings on sides. Mildy malt aromas & Noble hops to the nose. Crispy upfront, smooth malty palate & gentle bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Dry & malty aftertaste. Well balanced flavor & aromas. Very pleasant drinkability. Refreshing.

Found in a Moscow grocery store, the standard brown half liter bottle features a red, white and gold label featuring a drawing of an old man seating, asleep, with a book on his lap and a dove on one arm. Below the name is a sketch of a German monastery nestled in the hills. Purity law applies. Best before 4/21/07, i opened it on 5/3/06.

Pours a slightly hazy pale gold under a 1.5 finger off-white head that settles slowly, clinging to the sides as it goes, leaving some nice lace strands behind. The nose is nicely full of barley malt - sweet, pleasant, and a real eye-opener in its strength. The mouth is very prickly, fairly thick and rather heavy. There's a nice raw, fresh taste here, crisp and refreshing. Sweet malt is here, as is a good tart floral hops bitter, which lingers longest in the aftertaste. A good refreshing quaffer, this would be great in a Biergarten on a summer afternoon.
