Decent refreshing helles. Pours light gold, clear with medium carbonation. Grainy and malty taste. Not massively complex but a good beer for a warm day.

Sep. 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 5.2%. Pale golden colour, large to moderate head. Aroma of malts, fresh bread, hay and floral and herbal hops. Fresh flavour, citric and herbal / spicy, just the right sweetness, with a noticeable bitterness in the finish. An enjoyable helles.

L- Pale gold, crystal clear, pours with 2mm white head.
S- Bready/grainy, quite mild.
T- Bready, grainy, quite a bright hoppy flourish into the finish.
F- Prominent carbonation in the mouth (if not the glass!). Hoppier/dryer than say a regular lager would be.
O- Would go well in summer months for a refreshing beer, without too prominent a Taste/character to jade the palate. Probably eminently sessionable; at German prices ie in Germany. As a 'specialist import' bought in the UK it doesn't have enough character for the price to lead me to buy it again.
Bought from Real Ale, Formosa St., London W9. 500ml bottle. £3.40 Bb: 07/05/2021.
