It holds up pretty well. Nice dark color & good malt flavor, enough hops to balance. Flavor is a little lacking compared to craft beers.

This beer is very drinkable. It beats American macros easily, but is too watery in both taste and feel. The beer is closer to a very dark brown than black. It smells wonderful, but lacks the taste expected after seeing the lacing and color. It is smooth, crisp, with a pleasant aftertaste. I bought this at Aldi, price was right, it will probably come home again.
