I really liked this beer and looked for more.
This pours a nice reddish brown and the aroma is wonderful malty almost fruity.
It has a nice head with some lacing'.
It tastes of great malts that have aftertones of nutty fruits.
A wonderful feel in the mouth and a lingering aftertaste that leaves you wanting to have another. One of the best doppelbock dunkels I had in Germany

500 ml bottle from Germany
Pours clear very dark brown with creamy off white head, thick patchy lacing. Aroma is rich malt, hints of herbal hops.
Taste is sweetish with bits of dark bread, light herbal hops, noticeable presence of smooth and slightly bitter alcohol. Mouthfeel is smooth medium with moderate carbonation.
Solid and drinkable bock.

A clear, dark brown beer with a thick and stable head.
Smell is very malty with bready flavors, especially of fresh baked crust. Hefty dark bread smells and light caramel typical of Maillard products.
Taste sweet malty with a lot of dark flavors. The bready taste is there, along with strong caramel notes. Some alcohol and a little sharp and dark roasted on the edges.

Poured a glassy brown colored beer. A bit of brown bubbles never really formed a head. The beer is pretty low on carbonation. Kind of an earthy cocoa aroma. Mild flavor is lightly sweet with flavors of dark chocolate and roasted malts. Mouthfeel is moderately full and watery from he lack of carbonation. About what you'd expect in a dark bock beer.
