From a powder blue can, this beer is crystal clear, yellow-gold and has a slim white head. The aroma has a bready soft malt quality. Balanced taste...soft sweetness is offset with a dry mid-taste and some herbal hops. Easy drinking. Lighter in body than expected. Mass-market German lager.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of bready malt, toffee, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with bready malt and a mild bitterness.

Copenhagen 27/4 2025. 50 cl can from Tax-free shop in Istanbul. The Cathedral of Berlin on the light blue can. As "Berliner Geschichte Lager".
Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head- Stable. Disappears after a minute leaving no foam behind. No lacin.g.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a sourish grainy scent. Sweet pale malts, bread, glue and a sharp whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong nourish bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is malty and sweetish.
Too sweet and I could do without the weird smell of glue.

The pour is golden yellow with a medium amount of carbonation. The taste is crisp, white bread, soda crackers, & a hint of white corn. Cheers! B

Pale gold appearance with a small white head and sparce lacing. Grainy, malty aroma, just a bit sweet, with a spicy note in the background. Flavor stays focused on bready malts while noble hops add depth and balance. Bitterness is minimal as is the sweetness. Decently carbonated, medium-to-light bodied mouthfeel.

500mL can pours a clear, rich golden yellow color with a surprisingly small cap of white-colored head that disappears pretty quickly . Smells of honeyed bready malts and a faint noble hop note. Standard Helles flavor of light, bready malts and a nice honey note and a subtle sweetness. The flavor of this beer is disappointingly one-dimensional though. Almost no bitterness and very little hop flavor. Medium body and pretty much a completely flat, uncarbonated mouthfeel.
No date on the can anywhere, assuming this was supposed to have some carbonation but my can was basically flat. This wasn't very good and won't bother to buy again if I can't tell that it's out of date.

Clear, golden body; moderate carbonation; one-finger thick head, semi-sticky and lasting. Faint, grain-like smell. Very nice flavor; honey-like; nice herbal bitterness. Medium-light body; crisp.
A decent if unremarkable German lager.
