Beer demonstrates a multifaceted taste and aroma with a relatively dry finish and high carbonation. The taste has a banana-clove character and easily perceptible fruit esters. The soft, sweet-and-grain taste of wheat is felt. The foamy cap is fine-grained, stable, fairly dense, harmoniously complements the golden reference color of the drink.

Hazy medium to dark gold pour, thin but steady white head. Nose is wheat, herbs, yeast.
Taste shares ripe banana, creamy wheat, spice (maybe coriander), light malt, sweet herbs. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. In the finish I get the a return of the banana and a hint of...marshmallow?
I like this beer, hits the Hefe notes well with quirky touches.

The pour is straw colored. The taste is creamy, wheat, banana, & a hint of clove. Overall, this was a good hefeweizen. Cheers! B

I just bought this brew at Total Wine. Can says "Wheat Beer Blond' but it's got the same alcohol content (5.2) as the Hefeweizen and it tastes like a Hefe. Bright gold and slightly hazy on the pour with pillowy white head. Aroma is banana bread. Taste follows -- yeast and banana. Creamy smooth finish and moderate carbonation. This is very good beer at a nice price. ($6.99 for 4/16.9 oz.cans.) I recommend highly.

Poured from a 16oz, purchased as a single.
On the pour an active, and pillowy 2 fingers of white head formed on top of a very hazy golden yellow body. There is lots of carbonation. Some lacing is left.
Aroma is very yeasty, but throwing some very bright esters mixing with some phenols as well. There is a slight banana bread sweetness in the back.
Taste brings redemption for the fine but not great Aroma. The yeast character is still bright but the classic banana esters are much more present in the flavor. Some phenols before a full but mellow, lightly toasted bread comes through for the finish.
The feel is full, but in a versatile way. When drank cold its decently refreshing, but I could also see this being enjoyed during the colder months as well. Longer malty full finish.
Overall this was good for a random German impulse buy from a brewery I haven't heard of, in the northern part of the country. Not fully authentic Bavarian Hefeweizen, but pretty damn close.

Pale gold appearance wit a large, dense white head and good lacing. Aroma offers up the standard hefe attributes: wheat, yeast, clove and banana. All are neatly tied together to produce an appealing rounded flavor. Hops, and any accompanying bitterness, are low keyed with hardly any impact on the taste. Smooth, creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel

Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a cloudy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is very bready. Taste is bananas, bready, light cloves, easy drinking. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Pours an unfiltered somewhat dark yellow, very little head formation and next to no retention despite an aggressive pour; moderate lacing. Nose is clove forward, bread dough, baking spice, lemon peel; nothing off in the smell, but it's lacking in depth. Taste follows - clove and baking space the predominant flavors, though not much else. Flavor is very ephemeral as well - there is next to no lingering after taste at all. Mouthfeel is soft with little perceptible carbonation. This isn't a bad beer at all, but it's also quite easy to find an exceptional version at a not much higher price point.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of banana, clove, spices and cracked wheat. Nice sweet taste of banana, bubblegum, spices and wheat.

From the can, it pours a hazy amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. Scent is bready with some banana. Taste is bready with a definite banana twist.
