It's not super complex, however it achieves fantastic nose and flavor with a clean, crisp finish. I really enjoy this import that I rarely see in my area (TX).

Poured from a can. Dark Golden in color with a white foamy head. Smells of bread, clove, banana and honey. Flavors of bread, clove and slight nuttiness. Flavors not overly strong.

The pour is dark brown. The taste is brown bread crust, clove, banana, & hint of hops. Cheers! B

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours a somewhat murky brownish color with a big puffy head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving a good showing of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a lightly toasted wheat bread smell mixed with lots o clove and banana. Along with these smells comes some orange peel and a coriander as well as a big peppery smell. Rounding it all out are some toast and smoke and a hint of char.
Taste – The taste begins with a wheaty and bready flavor as well as some flavors of toasted bread and orange citrus. Along with these flavors is a big showing of banana and clove, just as one may have anticipated from the nose. The roastines is lighter upfront, but grows stronger as the taste advances, with more roast and a bit of char working into the flavor profile. The wheat gets stronger toward the end of the flavor transitioning as well, and with a touch of cola sweetness and a bit of yeastiness, one is left with a rather lightly toasted and roasted wheat bread taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the slightly thicker and chewier side for a hefe, with a carbonation level that is low. I would have liked a bit more carbonation, but overall, the feel was decent.
Overall – A rather nice, slightly darker, hefe dunkel with a rather easy drinking, slightly sweeter flavor. A nice brew overall.

500ml can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden color with amber highlights. It left sudsy trails of lace from a thin head of foam. It smelled of wheat, banana, clove and roasty notes. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with wheat and some spices.
