I agree with other reviewers, this tastes a little more like pilsner than a lager. I expect more a lager taste from helles.
This isn't bad, but there are better helles.

Pours a clear, bright yellow, with nominal foam that fades quickly. Smell reminds strongly of a newly mowed spring lawn, sweet and grassy. Flavor starts with sweet malt, then a healthy dose of grassy German hops, with a hint of lemon flavor. Finish is smooth, mostly hops. Body seems light for a Helles, supported by ample carbonation. Overall this beer seems more like a Pilsner than a Helles, which is perhaps the local custom so close to the Czech border.

Privatbrauerei Eibau i. Sa. GmbH "Eibauer Helles Landbier"
500 ml can coded "P: 07/05/2024 E: 07/11/2025 10:54:31 19". Sampled on 7 November 2024
$59.99 / 24 can - Costco's Biergarten Collection, Costco, Christiana, DE
Notes via stream of consciousness: Landbier means country beer and I've sampled quite a few in Germany but never one that was labeled as a helles. I'm not sure what landbier means other than perhaps that it's just not as polished as a mass produced beer. Maybe this beer will give me some answers. It's poured a mainly clear light golden body beneath 25-30 mm of bright white foam. The aroma is moderate with some lightly sweetish and grainy malt. The taste follows, and in my opinion it's lacking in hop flavor leaving it at the very least out of round, and at worst out of balance. The malt reminds me of the flavor that you get in some non-alcoholic beers. Is it just oxidation? Perhaps. There are some hops in there, floral and herbal, but the malt dominates. There's a touch of bitterness as well, but again, it's balanced towards malt. That would be OK in most cases but it's crossing the edge here. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp. So there are no answers here regarding what landier is although this one is certainly less refined.

From the half liter can in the 2024 Biergarten Collection from Costco, it pours a clear light yellow color with a nice white head that reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a light scent of grassy hops. The mouth follows with a pleasant light malt flavor with some grassiness.

500 ml can from the 2024 Biergarten Collection (Costco). The can has a May or July 2024 canning date and a 2025 Best By date stamped on the bottom.
Appearance. Clear golden body with high clarity and a decent white head.
Aroma. Clean and appealing with both hops and malt clearly present.
Flavor. Mild and Covid worth the aroma's profile.
Mouthfeel. Light+ body with near medium carbonation.
