This Bier pours up a masterpiece, if only in looks. The Schaumkrone is like a whipped milk toppinp from your favorite Cafe. Small to medium bubbles top a deep copper brown elixir. The aroma is malty and sweet with caramel that is almost candy-like. Hops are present and are spicy and minty. The flavor is suprisingly hoppy upfront against a nice roast bitterness. The hops are spicey and crisp. This Bier is smooth and highly drinkable. Its not really a Southern Style Dunkles. Overall its lighter. But still head and shoulder above those biig guys' Dunkles...
