On tap at Brew and Brats at Arbor Hill in Naples, NY. This is one of their house beers made for them by CB Craft Brewers.
This one pours a fairly dark brown color, with a small head, and a decent amount of lacing.
There's supposed to be coffee in this, but the aroma is so faint that I honestly would not have guessed this fact. The base porter isn't bad, but it's kind of boring, with your genetic faint roast and chocolate notes. This is classic CB- it's just afraid to be more.
This is medium bodied, and a tad watery, but pretty drinkable, with a typical level of carbonation.
I still feel the same way about CB Craft Brewers as I always tend to feel- the beers are too safe. There's just nothing exciting here. The place it's brewed for however- Brews and Brats at Arbor Hill - is an awesome place.
