On tap at the CB Craft Brewers tasting room. New beer made for the Penfield Pour House. Seems to have been made as a good alternative for people who want to order Budweiser or Labatt or other beers of that ilk.
Pours a dark gold color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
Smells include sweet grain, caramel, and light grassy hops.
The taste is similar. Somewhat muted, but still tasty. Slightly earthy.
Light bodied, crisp and very refreshing.
This is not a game changer, but it does what it sets out to do- be a good alternative for adjunct lagers.
