On tap at the brewery.
Pours a golden, hazy brown. 1 inch head, not much lacing.
Smells include brown sugar, caramel, toffee, and some mild citrus hops.
The taste is pretty similar. The malts are dominant here- some great caramel and English toffee flavors, alongside tobacco and some nice smokiness. Some English hop flavors are present- earthy, grassy flavors, alongside some citrusy hop flavors as well. The hop flavors are mild, and 2nd fiddle to the strong delicious malt flavors.
Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, well carbonated.
A great beer from CB's. This one is a keeper, I hope they bring it back.
