Pours a golden amber colour with a moderate head. The smell has very strong nutty qualities to it, but not too strong. There was also a definate scent of hops tickling my nose. The taste was nutty. Almost like a meal in itself. The hops were making their presence known, but were eased by a light dose of malt. Not overly carbonated, it went down smooth and easy. This is on tap at Custom Brewcrafters quite often. It's worth the drive for it.

Ah the old toad always has some good beers handy and this one didn't dissapoint. Pulled a fine dark mahogony color with a fluffy white head and a little bit of lacing. Smell was not hoppy, but there was some hops present. This one was more focused on some great malts. It had notes of nuts, pecans and just a little sweetness. The taste was dank and filling, full of caramel, coffee, toffee. Mouthfeel was very thinly carbonated, but sufficed. Very tsaty and easy to drink.
