Poured into an imperial pint glass form a growler. Nice foamy irish red head, off white. Not very active carbonation. The flavor is mostly malty with small hops at the middle and end. The after taste is nutty and a slightly yeasty. Good to kick off St. Patty's day.

Brown in colour with a moderate head. The aroma is hoppy with a mild malty sweetness to balance it out. The taste is also very well balanced. Starts with a mild hoppy bitterness, goes to a nice malty sweetness and finishes with another round of hoppy bitterness. There were also smokey undertones detected. Not much, just a slight amount. If you ever go to Lakeville, you have to check this out at Papa Murphy's.

The name is Saint Patrick's, but this is a one-of -kind under the catchall of amber. Uniqueness was it was both hoppy and brown. Very good and a reason why I will come back again. Could be bottled. Carmelized malt. Very fresh for St. Paddy's. Candidate for bottling.
