Last of three brews at the Buffalo Tap Room tonight, poured a clear copper with a tight but thinner white head, sweeter malty aromas wich I expected caramel and white raisin mainly a touch of the cooked vegi that you sometimes get in a maibock as well.Starts out somewhat sweet alot of caramel flavors and some apricot-like fruit but there is a decent spicey dryness in the finish.A lighter mouth feel did lend itself to its drinkability,I have had better of the style this spring but this wasnt bad.

Buffalo Tap Room is the place to get the good beer in Buffalo. Custom BrewCrafters makes yet another great beer for this fine establishment. The Mai Bock is what I would call the best session beer of the whole bunch. Golden in colour with a rich head, it is more than just beautiful to look at. The aroma is mildly hoppy. Hints of flowers and grass, but there is also a malty sweet smell. Very nice. The taste follows the smell perfectly. Very easy to drink, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
