Had this at Donelly's public house. Once again a part of the Fridays 2.50 special. This poured a very dark amber color with a nice head. Awesome sticking lacing action goin on. The aroma was very dry and hoppy. The taste was about the same, this did not go well withteh spicy food i had that night but it was still great. Good amount of bitterness. little bitter. Floral hoppage? With some good malty balance.Smooth wet mouthfeel. Fairly drinkable.

Was hooked up with a free growler. No better way to get a good beer. Poured a pretty dark red color with a subtle head. A gentle scent of hops. The taste was sweet and smott. Very malty, yet very hoppy. Perfectly balanced. This is a beer that would go real well with a nice cut of steak. I had mine with a Wendy's Hamburger and fries. Great match. A real smooth beer. Good times.

Another example of the apparent evolution of the "red" ale. Compare to St. Rogue Red. Deep ruby color, full body, malty sweet and a generous dose of hops. This simply is good beer.
