CBs Hop Harvest, their fall seasonal brew for 2003. 5.9% abv. Scored a half gallon growler from Southtown Beverage on 10/04/03. Crystal clear amber. Lively, tight head. Leafy hop aroma. Piney hop burps follow each swallow. Newport is the hop variety for this year's brew. Interesting choice. The Newport hops seem to lend a balanced bitterness and a full resiny, whole-leaf hop flavor. Malt is substantial enough whilst allowing the hops to take the forefront. Very nice. Rochester area BAs, get some of this while you can.

This one was hard to peg. I couldn't figure out if I liked it or loved it.
I really don't know how to explain this one. There is a lot happening with this beer. Maybe too much. But I did enjoy it. I guess it's not my place to judge this beer. The best option would be to go to Brewcrafters in Honeoye Falls because I have no idea where else they would have this.
