This was a fun ale. without a doubt it is a pale ale, but the wasabi makes it stand WAY out from any other beer I have ever tasted. You can smell the wasabi as soon as it's served to you. don't worry, the wasabi isn't overpowering at all, making this a very drinkable brew. Served to me at California Rollin' sushi bar, it really went great with my tuscany roll.

A what? Wasabi brew? Wasabi in beer? That's what I said too...until I tried this surprisingly unique beer. A light but flavorful pale ale. Hazy golden appearance, distinct wasabi aroma. Brewed with pale, cara pils and cara Munich malts and crystal and liberty hops. It's refreshing and you guessed it, it does a fine job of washing down sushi.
