on tap into a standard pint glass at Mammoser's in Hamburg, NY.
served with a reddish orange color, just a touch cloudy. very nice white head with some nice sticky lace covering most of the glass at first. avergage head retention.
the aroma is big amounts of caramely, bready grains. not much else.
again, caramel malty, sweet bready graininess. a bit heavy on the caramel grains. the slightest bit of hops to balance.
medium to light in body, average feeling carbonation.
a bit sweet and a little too much of the caramelly grain. not something i would really order again.

Out of a bottle this beer was a clear ruby color with one finger of off-white head. The retention was not much to speak of but it did leave some spots of lacing off the thin collar. The aroma was of caramel malt, some elements of soil and sweet breads. The flavors were mostly caramel malt again with the added notes of nuts, toasted malt and dry grains. I also tasted a pleasant, bitter finish of slightly medicinal/herbal hops. The mouthfeel was good, the body medium and the carbonation appropriate. A decent example of the style, though rather middle-of-the-road.

Custom Brewcrafter's St. Patrick's Irish Ale is a very clear ruby ale with a thin white head that vanishes and leaves decent lacing on the glass. It has a very faint, slightly sweet, malt aroma with a note of herbal, medicinal hops. It's light bodied, slick and a little watery. It has a slightly watery finish, but it doesn't leave any grittiness. It's lightly flavored, but well balanced; slightly sweet with an herbal, medicinal bitterness. Yup, it's an Irish Red. It's quite drinkable.

a saturday St. Patricks Ale from custom brewcrafters. Love March
A- pours a ruby red body with a nice head that quickly retreats. The color of the brew is very impressive
S- an all malt experience with some mild caramel, earthy tones, and some type of herbal hop scent maybe
T- some sweet and dry flavors at the same time. Decent sweetness and flavor for the brew
M- a little more syrupy that carbonated than I would like
D- St. Pat's Ale is pretty drinkable from CB. It's a good brew to grab for this time of the year

Thanks DmanGTR!
A: Red Amber that fades into darker ruby hue. Lots of off white bubbles forming a head at the top.
S: Malty and sweet. maybe a little bit of hay in there as well.
T: Malty, smooth, and creamy. A touch of burnt carmel in there as well. Very nice and mellow.
M: Medium bodied.. carbonation seems a little low though. Still just fine!
D: A good beer overall, but not something I would drink a lot of. Still good and enjoyable.

Reviewed 3/19/10;
A- pours a slightly hazy deep burnished copper color w/ a thick off-white cap that dissipates after a bit leaving rings of lace down my nonic after every sip
S- smell is mostly of baking nutty bread with some notes of caramel and an earthy hop giving off a tea-like aroma, some other toasty cereal grains, roasting nuts and a bit of dried fruit come thru subtly
T- taste is also chock full o nutty, toasty, bready grains, i mean a total domination of palate type of maltiness, some hints of hop bitterness balance it out quite well, some hidden dark fruitiness and some eng. hops(i think) poke their head out briefly before the crisp, slightly astringent finish
M- a fairly dry lighter than med. bodied brew with a good amount of co2
D- a very drinkable brew whether your irish or not, prob. one of the best "irish" reds i've tried, don't undestand why it's entered as an Am. red, however, it would prob. be a top 10 irish red for sure

A: Ruby red colored. Clear. Very little head that vanishes fast.
S: Sweet malt, floral hops.
T: Sweet, syrup, cherry, strawberry, not much hop bitterness, medium malt.
M: Light, thin, medium-carbonation
D: Could have quite a few of these. I'd probably stick with one due to the sweetness.
Would go great with a slice of fruit pie.
