A new revised version of the old Mai Bock the bartender said its called Springfest but says Blonde Bock on the tap handle and on the tap list hmm go figure.Poured a deep rich golden with a tight 1/2 finger white that held nicely, toasty caramel a leafy peppery hop in the nose it was quite inviting.Smooth and creamy mouth feel it really went down well,a big hop presence for the style wich was nice a big spicey hop profile intertwined with a lightly sweet caramelly malt base. There was a little iron and vegetal character that showed thru lightly as well to this beer keeping it somewhat complex,CB makes the beers for this place and this is one of the better offerings here.
