This is a very complex Brown Ale. Creamy tan head, pours a dark brown. The rich hops mixes well with a nutty and almost fruity flavor. If you know a fan of the British/American brown ale, theyll fall all over this. Admittedly they over-diversify and perhaps overstock the hops which impacts the overall drinkability. Custom Brewcrafters is in Honeoye Falls New Work.

A brown ale brewed for the Brewery Bar in the village of Honeoye Falls a place we stopped into before doing the brewery tour at CB's.Poured into a chilled pint glass (a pet peeve of mine) a slight hazed medium tawny brown with a nice creamy 1/2 finger off white head, leafy, herbal Simcoe hop profile hits in the nose along with some roastiness and bitter chocolate it was a pleasant surprise for me.Well balanced between roasty chocolaty malt and leafy earthy hop,it starts out somewhat roasted with hints of chocolate but big drying and "green" hop element really comes thru strong in the finish making it immensly drinkable. The drinkability is off the charts I could have sat at that bar and drank this all day its not just your standard brown by any sense the hops give it more definition,at the brewery they said this is one of their most heavily hopped beers wich surprised me but I can see it.If ever in Honeoye Falls stop in to the Brewery and have this its really damn good.
