Amber colored, small head, a lot of lacing.

Super malty, basically no hops here. It's at least fairly crisp. Otherwise, it's your typical incredibly disappointing beer from these guys.

Pours a dark golden color, medium head. Due to the hops in it the head never really seemed to disappear. The beer gives off a citrus-like aroma coupled with a hint of hops. In an odd mix, the malts dominate the initial taste, then the hops kick on if only for a brief moment, with a quick wheat aftertaste. While this is a solid brew, I think the malts might be just a bit too in your face for an IPA.

Poured a dark ruby red, nice foamy white head and some killer lacing all the way down. Smells are of earthy hops and some caramelized malts. Gulp. On the bitter side, more pine than citrus, some malt in the back. Just below medium in body, good carbonation and a little sticky. Could be a great session brew so the drinkabitily factor is there. A good beer the have every now and then to mix things up. Recommended.

This beer started off well enough, with a nice appearance and aroma. However, flavor was a bit of disappointment in comparison.

Appearance was a nice amber, with a tall and sturdy head. Aroma was distinctly hoppy, lightly citrus-y, and pretty bitter. Flavor was out of balance; I found it to be overly malty, not very hoppy (particular not so when compared to the beer's aroma). Also, there were some weird off flavors, to include sourness and metal. Mouthfeel was OK.

Not bad, but hardly worth seeking out. I had this on draft at the Allen Street Hardware Store.

The beer pours a nice gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a refreshing pale malt scent along with a mild hop bitterness. The taste is good as well. It has a crisp pale malt flavor that goes down smooth and finishes bitter. It has a nice citrus hop character. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a well done west coast IPA. It stays within itself and doesn't go over the top.
