Presentation: 64oz growler filled at the brewery.
Appearance: Golden copper in color. Relatively clearn, but not brilliant. Thin white head that disipates.
Aroma: Initially, lemon (both the fruit and the rind). Caught a little bit of yeast character and soft malt notes. However, the lemon is the dominate aspect.
Taste: Relatively smooth malt tones (lightly kilned). Lemon flavor is there, but nowhere as strong as in the aroma. Background bittering (hops or fruit rind?) is there as a backbone structure that lingers into the after taste.
Overall: Beer seems a little thin, but is very smooth. Great for a hot summer day - high drinkability.
