On tap at the Village Tavern in Geneseo, NY.
Pours a light golden yellow, with visible carbonation and a one inch head. Not much lacing.
Smells include rotten banana, cloves, and strong yeast.
This one just doesn't taste very good. Tons of weird rotten banana flavor, some weird metallicness, something akin to urine, some spicing (cloves). I don't know what happened here, it was just bad.
Light bodied, creamy mouthfeel, high carbonation, supremely undrinkable.
They make some other good beers for the Village Tavern. This is not one of them.

A short-lived, modest, creamy, one-inch head is antique white with rings of lace. The eponymous hefeweizen glass contains this cloudy, light golden yellow beer with orange highlights.
The light aroma contains wheat, grass, orange, and light yeast with some banana and lactic notes.
Similar to the aroma, the flavors are all quite light and well balanced, with a range of bitter, sour, and acid. The finish is long and tart.
A medium body with smooth texture and fizzy carbonation. Overall there is no sense of alcohol in this dry beer.
This is a thirst-quenching beer for sure. Best with lunch, and one could easily have a second.
