Our brewers tested the limits of style by adding mango extract to a big, dry, wheaty ale to make it exceedingly juicy and quenching. Just for fun they added an explosion of hop aromas, including white grape, mango, limes, oranges, & pears.

Bottle purchased at the Custom Brewcrafters tasting room.
Pours a hazy light golden orange. 3 inch head. Some visible carbonation, with decent lacing all the way down.
Smells like pure mango. One-note, but pleasant.
The dominant taste is of course mango, but it is well done. It tastes like they used real mango here, rather than some sort of extract, which keeps the brew bright. A little bit of wheat and hop bitterness linger on the palate with each sip, washed over with sweet mango.
Medium body, highly carbonated, pretty dry.
A great wheat beer from CB's that is just chock full of mango. Heavy-handed use of it, for sure, but it works well.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter.
A: Pours a hazy light golden amber with a one finger puffy white head. Can see some visible carbonation in the body. Head dissipates in a minute or two leaving a few spots of lacing on the glass.
S: Instantly get mango on the nose which blends real nicely with the hop qualities. Really smells like a juice with the mango extract they used. A good deal of sweetness to this. Just a touch of wheat makes it through.
T: As with the aroma, this brew is loaded with mango flavor. Ripe fruit flavor that transitions into a slightly bitter hop character that is picked back up with wheat malts. Aftertaste is mango and hop, a great combination.
M: Medium body with ample carbonation. Pretty clean finish considering all the sweetness this beer has. Just a touch of alcohol but pretty well hidden.
Overall this is a tasty beer that shows CB's is stepping up their game. The mango is more magnifico than other beers I've tried albeit this is simply an extract and not actual fruit. Give this one a go whether you like wheat beers or not.
