This is a nice typical German dark beer. It pours a dark brown almost black with a medium head that leaves lacing in the glass. It has a nice roasted malt aroma with a similar taste. It is well balanced with the hops and only has a somewhat dark malt bitterness typical of dark German beers. Nice full mouth that finishes dry.
