Hazy opaque dark brown amber body and almost no head or haze covering. Not too impressive. Nose reeks of belgian yeast, with a restrained citrus/coriander thing going on behind all the sugary sweetness.
Taste is full of residual sugars, malty and sweet. And not a fruity sweetness but corn syrup sugar cane sweetness. A little underattenuation perhaps? Low, mild hop character -- not dry. Grows on me, especially with the development of a toasty graham flavor...from the oats? Low to medium carbonation.
Meant to be pronounced, I suppose, "I dunno" Oat Ale, this was a particularly goofy offering from Moonlight. Like a red saison?? Real sweet...too much for me. I think it might've used to be called a "strong ale" but I don't think this was very strong -- and my brand spankin new moonlight sweatshirt calls it simply "idunno oat ale".
