Within this aluminum sheathing rests a bright, spicy, modern pilsner so transporting, screams become carefully lagered whispers, Legos on the floor in the night become clouds of pillowy foam, and a forgotten diaper pail softly wafts lemon grove kisses...

Straw yellow with a thich, bright white head. Nose is like zesty, lemon or lime specifically. Taste was also zesty somewhat piney finish. slight bitterness on backend.

Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the Saxo glass. Aromatic with melon and lime, and straw in the nose. Clean and refreshing taste with something like a squeeze of lime in the finish. Some mellow malty taste and just a hint of sweetness. Cereal flavor is helped by the herbal hops. Just a slight bitterness and resiny tang in the aftertaste to balance it out. An excellent lighter beer and one of my favorite Pilsners this past year. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Dated 11/27/24.

I’m writing this with blocks scattered all over the ground and a little roar upstairs from a baby that doesn’t want to nap. It’s a beautiful thing, “being.” And to have my little Raulita along the way, well…heaven. And how about sipping on a fine Moonlight Lager as I go? Yep. This one is a Gretzky wrister top shelf. Belfour didn’t even have a chance!

Can from Ale Arsenal in San Carlos.
Side by side with Reality Czeck, all this does is exemplify how good RC is. While fermentation is clean and soft, as you'd expect, the really aggressive hop profile, dank, herbaceous and super weed heavy and comparatively unbalanced. Dank, mildly bitter with loads of weed on a clean, soft palate. Very floral and herbaceous. Clean. Soft, snappy and drying with a dank finish. Solid stuff.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden straw yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of lacing.
S: Floral, grassy, herbal, nice hit of citrus zest, crackery biscuity malt, and a touch of yeast.
T: Bright, floral, lemon zest, spicy pine, grassy herbal notes, crackery slightly biscuity malt, faint touch of yeast, with a fairly dry finish.
M: Light to medium body, moderately lively carbonation.
O: Coming from a brewery that makes my all time favorite Pils makes scoring this a bit tricky. When compared to Reality Czeck, it's not quite as complex and nuanced, but stepping back and just judging it as what is in the glass, it's a damn fine Pils all its own.
