Hohenfelder Privat Brauerei “Hohenfelder Kellerbier”
,33L brown glass bottle coded “Mindestens haltbar bis: 12.11.21/C2/12:30”. Sampled on 01.10.21
Look: Lightly hazy straw gold beneath a full head of bright white foam that holds exceptionally well and leaves some very nice lacing behind on the glass.
Smell: Grainy and lightly sweetish malt with a hint of apple.
Taste: Grainy and sweetish malt with a hint of apple, and plenty of herbal and gently spicy hops. A firm bitterness backs it and it finishes dry with herbal and softly spicy hops lingering shortly.
Feel: Medium to medium-light in body and gently crisp with a seemingly natural, very fine-bubbled standard carbonation.
Overall: Very much a kellerpils in terms of additional happiness and bitterness. Well worth trying.
