Has a dark-brown color, filtered, with a light brown, fluffy head.
Smells of caramel, earthen toffee and a hint of sweet wild honey.
Its body is sweet and almost too light, which becomes apparent during the middle part, in which a watery dullness is on par with the otherwise taste defining malts. It remains refreshing though.
Tastes of dried wood, caramel malts, a hint of milk chocolate and a pungent tartness. Then, the beer gets overly thin and watery with an accompanying sweetness, which gets more powerful during the finish, without nothing else going on
Defined completely by sweet malts, this got nothing to do with an Alt for me. At best, this is an easy to read Dunkel, appearing a little too simple as for its superlight mouthfeel and missing hop appearance.
