Wet Hop Pilz from Blue Point, growler tasted at Thanksgiving. Very pale beer with a mild taste. Malt body is minimal and hop character isn't exciting, either. Disappointing entry from Blue Point, whose European style lagers are often quite tasty.

crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a very thin cap; nice lacing;
S: earthy, grassy, a hint of floral;
T: follows the nose, but the floral character is more prevalent; mild bitterness on the finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;
O: easy drinking; I always appreciate when a brewer does a wet hop beer that's not an APA/IPA;
