Growler of blue point 631 pale ale purchased at the brewery Sept. 2016. AB Blue Point is now lifting area code naming conventions from their Chicago corporate cousin, Goose Island 312 (that should probably be 773 at their location). Let's try to get Blue Point to brew some 934 (the newest area code overlay in Suffolk county, NY).
Refrigerator temperature pour into a thin walled glass. Good amber color. American IPA hoppy aroma with flavor to match. A little less alcohol than most IPAs. Not enough malt body to balance the hops. A generic entry in the Pale Ale / IPA field.
