Blue Point Czech Pils growler purchased at the brewery December, 2016, and sampled over the next week. 5.8% alcohol. This has 34 IBU. It is not the Wet Hop Pilz which had over 40 IBU.
This has a very nice European hoppy flavor, as do many of Blue Point's newer German/Czech style beers. This is a medium light amber lager with a white foam that recedes fairly quickly. This could use a little more malt body for my taste. However the beer has a satisfying character that remains, and possibly improves, as the growler carbonation dissipates.
