Poured a light copper hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell was very wheaty and yeasty. Mild clove spiciness detected. Not much banana however.
The taste was upfront wheaty with a good yeast fullness. Mild spice kick mid way through.
The mouthfeel was full and chewy.
Overall a good attempt at the style. I would classify this an American Wheat Ale however, as the classic hefe flavors don't really pop.
