Before any sight of liquid out of the can, the first sense hit is the aroma. It smells a bit hoppier than juicier, but both are there in abundance. Surprisingly, it poured into a clear pint glass very pale and close to being clear. The carbonation is abundant and active, but the initial head dwindled to barely there, after a few minutes. Some lacing gets left behind in the glass. The label's claim of hoppy but not bitter is bonafide. An obvious malt presence does nothing to make it too sweet. It drinks refreshingly light and hoppy, with only a nice hoppy bite and a hint of the significant alcohol. A bit more depth to the taste could have made this even better, but the don't fix what's not broken axiom applies.
