It's finally that time of year where it's appropriate to review pumpkin beer! This is Blue Point barrel aged Big Mother Pumpkin. It's an imperial pumpkin ale that's been barrel aged. The notes on the can read big pumpkin, big spice, spooky good. It pours a obfuscated brown with an off-white head and can't miss pumpkin nose. The initial sip starts with pumpkin before the barrel aging comes in and smacks your tastebuds a bit before ending with a smooth pumpkin ale finish. At 11%, you will taste it.
