Actually, it's a self described Imperial Sour Ale and the pour from a pint can into a clear glass liter mug proves there might be too much wheat in the wort. There's just too much initial foam on top of the liquid to ignore. Then, as it quickly recedes unevenly, there's scant glass lacing. Standard point demerits for looks, there. But, it's a delightfully rose-amber color, that's bright and opaque. The aroma is tart and fruity. The taste is tart, mildly sour and muddled. It seems salty, likely because of the lime. The other listed fruit ingredients, raspberry and cherry, are disappointly presented. Lime and salt are the predominant tastes here. The high ABV is well hidden and the body seems appropriate for the style. So, this has its pluses, but there really are much better alternatives within this category.
