500ml bottle poured into a pint glass. A clear reddish brown with a thin head which soon disappeared. No lacing.
Nondescript malts in the nose
After an uninspiring start the taste begins to redeem this offering. Toasted malts up front. Some chocolate in the middle which lingers to a drying finish.
A fairly light body with low carbonation.
Maybe I didn’t have the best bottle but I think that it should be less flat. True to the style.
