Enjoyed a decent sample approx 6 oz. at a Backyard Beer Festival held by a friend of mine. Straight from the brewery via growler.
Appearance - Bright golden color with yellow hues, somewhat hazy from a lack of filtering and a nice little white cap on top.
Smell - Surprisingly potent citrus aromas, orange and grapefruit are most prominent.
Taste - Pretty much like the nose orange and grapefruit, with a healthy dose of bitterness to wrap things up. Not terribly complex, but flavors melded together pretty nicely.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and well carbonated, finishes a bit dry.
Overall - A rather solid APA from trafalgar with a bolder citrus flavor than many APA's. It was probably helped by the freshness, but even still this is a well put together beer and one I would love to see in the LCBO.
