I'm with Sammy on this one. This is an insipid brew.
No head, no lace, slight haze to an apple juice coloured beer. Nose is apple.
Weissbier? I don't think so. Comes across almost as weak kneed cider. Thin-bodied, slightly sour, otherwise characterless. Not unpalatable, but that's hardly a good thing.
Pass.

No head on dark orange tinged yellow. Smelled and tasted like apple juice, spiked. Thin and harsh acidic . A step above drain pour. Why brew this? Charity sucked me in.I'm the one to bring it all the way to the Ohio gathering, I'm the one to blame.

From a bomber, fresh from the brewery.
This poured a semi-cloudy, not quite hefe-weizen cloudy dark orange into a large pint glass carbonation present but not very active. Smell is intersting, citrusy, almost like a pineapple smell there. This stuff tastes pretty good, that citrusy aroma dominates the flavor with very clean finish of wheat malt. This is really easy to drink too, almost like drinking a glass of water.
An excellent brew for a hot day, definitely worth a shot.

Clear gold in colour with strong carbonation. Fairly neutral aromatically speaking, with some faint notes of buttered biscuits and lemon marmalade. A bit more complex in the mouth, with lemon pith and some earthy hop flavors, along with some more biscuity notes. Lingering light malt finish. Not too bad, but a bit more of a dry snappy finish would have made this a much better contender for an afternoon on a hot and sunny patio beer. Thanks pootz!

650ml Bottle:
Poured a slightly hazed golden wheat ale in my weizen glass. Decent 2 finger fluffy cap with moderate retention and lacing. Lively carbonation.
The nose fills with wonderful dry biscuity malts and lemony hopping..really nice aroma.
Moderate wheat spine, spritzy biscuity-citrus character, meduin body.
Up front you get to chew on a fresh wheat cake then lemmony-herbal hops balance and take you to a dry clean finish with citrus notes and a biscuit aftertaste.
The malted wheat is well defined in this beer and it is a refreshing drink which differs from the sweeter banana-clove wheat ales of Bavaria. This Kristalweizen seems to stay true to the Berliner Weisse style in dry citrusy flavor but retains the body and alcohol grunt of the Bavarian style..still this is a tad thin and lacking for a wheat beer.

650ml bottle, printed on label: "50 cents from every bottle purchased donated to Woodlands Oak Tree Preservation"
Pour a very clear apple juice-gold...small/medium white capped head that fades fairly quickly...the nose is light and fresh: some wheat, grassy notes and a pinch of lemon zest, some bready & grainy notes as well...subtle palate, a steady crispness throughout followed by a bakers-yeast sorta finish....nice lingering of soft bitterness....the mouthfeel was nicely fresh, light and kinda perky....great drinkability, this beer goes down smoothly but remains fresh and quenching and has you asking for more...quite enjoyable
